Every year, the vibrant and colorful city of Mexico plays host to thousands of spring. Some Spring Breakers especially, college students slip South of the Border from Padre Island or San Diego and other fly down to the internationally know coastal resorts of Mexico, namely the beautiful and exotic Cancun and Alcapulco.

During Spring Break some people are happy to do nothing more than enjoying the phenomenal beaches and water, soaking up the sun after a long winter, frequenting beachside bars and pool-side parties when they have the inclination and energy

Cancun is considered to be the #1 International Spring Break Destination, so expect Spring Break 2005 in Cancun to be a real treat!! The 14-mile long island is located on the tip of the Yucatan Peninsula in the Mexican Caribbean.

Cancun has everything that a Spring Breaker could dream of: Perfect weather, beautiful white sand beaches, warm ocean waves, unlimited recreational activities, unparalleled nightlife, and students from all over the United States. Cancun is famous for its unlimited water sports, gentle trade winds, international atmosphere, and party-'till-you-drop mentality.

For starters, take a cruise from Cancun to the waters off of Cozumel, home to the second largest coral reef in the world. Adventure aficionados can go snorkeling, scuba
diving and/or explore the largest dive site in the Western Hemisphere also, you can choose from day trips to the ancient Mayan ruins at Talum or the Temple of Kulucan a Chichen Itza. Cancun even offers a chance to swim with the adorable dolphins!!!!

As for the nightlife, no matter how lazy or active you are during the day, nighttime is when Cancun comes to life. The clubs like La Boom, Senor Frogs, Dady'O and Coco Bongo, can entertain thousands with incredible light shows and energetic dance floors and most of these Cancun nightclubs offer exotic drink specials as well as contests and stage shows to keep the party going all night. Stay in one club all-night or go club hopping. The party doesn't stop until the last person leaves!!!

If you’re looking for complete relaxation, Spring Break in Alcapulco is the perfect choice -- as it boasts of numerous luxury hotels, gambling casinos, and excellent beaches. You just can't beat a lazy day on the beach enjoying the breeze, the surf, and the sun while keeping your cool with a tall tropical drink.

For the adventurous, there are tons of opportunities in the form of exciting bull fighting rounds and/or watch the world-famous divers of La Quebrada take that thrilling dive 136 feet from the rocky cliffs into the crashing surf below. Party animals would love to know that Alcapulco is buzzing with the most happening nightclubs ranging from the chic Enigma with it's ancient Egyptian theme to the original pub Baby'O and from Alebrije, the local favorite to the popular Disco Beach, located directly on the beach and home of the famous foam parties.
